Catching Up..........

As you can tell I am very behind on this blog. So much has been going on lately. Kenley is 6 1/2 months now. I can't believe how fast the time has gone by. She is rolling all over the place, saying momma and dada, and she is on her hands and knee's rocking getting ready to take off crawling. She is growing up way too fast- but we have so much fun with her everyday as she is learning something new.

A couple weeks ago, April 26, was a big day for our little girl. We had her dedication at church. Her Nana, PahPaw, Nanny, Grandpa, Great Granny Piker, Great Granny and Papa Donahue, Aunt Amby, Uncle Mike, Cousin Emma and Aunt April all came down to celebrate with us as we dedicated our baby girl to the Lord- what a special day!!! We had so much fun with everyone and Kenley was such a good girl. This is a picture we took before leaving for the church.


Kenley also celebrated her 6 month birthday on April 15. We went to the doctor that morning and had a great check-up. She is a very healthy, strong little girl. Her weight is still in the 50th percentile but her height is in the 90th, so she is very tall for her age. She got 3 shots (that she did not care for) so when we got home we celebrated by giving her a little cupcake. She actually had more fun throwing it than eating it. haha

After she finished she really needed a bath- this is Kenley's favorite part of the day. She LOVES to splash. So I thought I would include a picture of her splashing.


Kenley also had her first Easter this year. Momma was singing in the choir for both church services so somehow we managed to not get any family pictures of us all dressed up on my camera- I will have to get my mom to send some to me. But here is Kenley with her Easter basket. And the next picture is her with all of her presents from Nana, Aunt Amby, Great Granny Piker, and Great Granny Donahue. Think she is spoiled??



I will try to do better at keeping this updated so you can keep up with Kenley. As for her parents we are doing great too. Andy is staying busy with work. We are very blessed that he has such a wonderful job, with great people. It is very rare to have a job that you enjoy as much as he enjoys his and we are very thankful for that. I have started my own business from home making hair bows and baby accessories, it has really taken off and God is blessing us with this venture. It feels like we are expanding the business in some way every day. It is kind of scary and wonderful at the same time.
