Big Girl!

Last week was a very exciting week in our house because Kenley finally decided to start using the big girl potty! Yay!!!

We were at the point we started wondering if she would ever potty train; last summer she was making great progress but as soon as we moved she had a set back and showed no signs of even wanting to be a big girl. She was actually at the point she was telling me "I no big girl, I baby and wear diapers." Great! BUT- it finally clicked for her... After Aunt Amby bribed her and told her she could get earrings if she would use the potty. Hey, whatever works. She REALLY wanted some earrings. So on Saturday (after a week of using the potty with no accidents!) we took her to the NWA mall to get earrings.

She picked out her earrings.....PINK flowers.

She wanted to make sure Aunt Amby went with us, since she was the one that made the promise. She doesn't forget anything. :)

She cried for a little while after (mainly because she was getting a lot of attention for the crying) but she got over it pretty fast when we went to get some lunch. She has enjoyed showing off her earrings!

She is still doing great with being a big girl and using the potty! I am so proud of her on how fast she adjusted. And I am THRILLED to be done with diapers. :)
