Christmas 2011

As always we had a very fun filled Christmas. This year we got to experience something new. My sweet sister and her husband took the whole family to ride the Polar Express in Branson. It was so much fun for all of us.

Here come Santa!!!

She was so excited to meet santa.

Nana and Papaw with their "big" girls!

Thanks again Amby and Mike- we had so much fun!!!

Since Kenley is in the pre-school program at her school this year she got to be in the Christmas program. It was so precious to see all the little kiddos up on stage singing their songs. Here is our little lamb. :)

She was so excited to spot us that she just kept pointing to us and wanting to come see us.

Christmas is always spread out for a few days around here. Since we go to Springdale to be with family we do our small Christmas at home a few days before Christmas. This year Kenley had one thing on her Christmas list and she was pretty specific on what she wanted. She wanted a car like Nana's.

She was pretty shocked when she woke up and saw her car in front of the Christmas tree

Taking it for a test drive

After she got in the car the rest of the presents had to be opened in the car

Driving the car outside so we can get ready to head to NWA for more Christmas festivities.

This year we did our Christmas with my family at my sisters house. She did such a great job at hosting. We had a wonderful meal, lots of presents and so much fun hanging out together. Andy even became a jungle gym for all the kiddos.

After all of the presents there was one more surprise for the kids.....the "mini van express." Here is uncle Mike punching their tickets before loading up in the mini van to go look at Christmas lights.

Since we had already done our Christmas my parents couldn't stand the thought of Kenley not having presents on Christmas morning so we set up another Christmas for her. (which to be honest, I am not sure who enjoyed it most Kenley or the grandparents and great-grandparents getting to watch a little one light up on Christmas morning again.) Andy and I loved getting to watch all of them.
Here are her presents set up in front of Nana's tree

Her face when she came into Nana's living room

This picture was so funny! Like I said she was very clear she wanted a car and did not request anything else so as she was staring at her new vanity Nana asked her if she asked Santa for a vanity. This is her face as she said "NO" but was so excited for the surprise.

Checking out the vanity

Doing granny's hair

Fixing her make up

Giving papa a make-up lesson

She also got a cash register. Papaw was grocery shopping and she was checking him out.

After playing with her toys for a little while we got ready and all of the family started arriving for the BIG Piker Christmas. Kenley took some time to love on Aunt Billie. We don't get to see them enough so she was taking in the time while she could.

My sweet little family on Christmas

Granny Piker made this blanket for Kenley. It has been the center of some fights in our house. Andy tried to convince Kenley that it is really his but kenley is not willing to share. Granny is so talented.

We had a wonderful Christmas this year enjoying time with family but most of all celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ. We are so thankful to serve the living Lord that came and died to save us all. Thank you Jesus and Happy Birthday!
