Some of our 2012

This year we have been enjoying Andy having a long weekend every other week. Since he gets every other Friday off we have been able to spend more family time together and do some activities together. One thing Kenley enjoys is drawing so she really likes to use sidewalk chalk (even though daddy does most of the drawing.)

Every week we go to lunch with some friends from church. We usually meet at the mall so that the kids can play in the play area. One week we were there and Kenley fell of the bridge that is in the play area, she cried and came to me but I didn't think much about it because she was up and playing again within minutes. But every time she came to me and I would pick her up she would grab her neck and scream. Since she was grabbing her neck it made me nervous and I decided to take her to the walk in clinic that is in the mall (so thankful there was a clinic right there). They did an x-ray and said she had broken her collar bone. It absolutely broke my heart!! It is so hard to hear that your baby has a broken bone, but she was such a trooper! As soon as we left the doctor we got ice cream and went to see daddy at work. That made all of us feel much better.

The doctor said it would heal on its own in about 3-4 weeks and I just needed to keep her calm and still for the next couple weeks. HA! Keep a very active 3 year old "calm and still." I called the pediatrician and she said that a sling may help remind Kenley to take it easy and hold her arm still so we headed to the medical supply store the next morning and got her one. She loved it after we started calling it her purse. :)

She even got a delivery from Uncle Jeff & Aunt Mimi- balloons and candy make anyone feel better. Thank you so much!

We had a very warm winter this year. We actually only had one snow but we made the most of it.

And since we live in Arkansas the very next day (which happened to be Valentines day) was warm and sunny. Here is our sweet girl on Valentines day.

Kenley got to go to dinner with Nana and Papaw one evening. Think she enjoys soaking up all of his attention? I think so!

And I just had to share this adorable picture of my silly girl. She loves dressing up in any dress but really loves her Christmas dress, the only problem is she can't zip it herself unless she puts it on backwards. So here is a picture of her in her hat, backwards dress and holding her box of get well necklaces from grandma and an old paci she found. Such a funny girl.

This past weekend we went to Tulsa with my parents, we had never been to the aquarium so that was our first stop. Kenley was so excited to see the fishys. Here she is with the "tuddles" her favorite part.

Getting sleepy but watching the sting rays with papaw

watching the shark tank with daddy

After the aquarium we did a lot of shopping. Kenley was a trooper but by the time we found a store with a tv and cartoons she was ready to sit down and watch. I thought it was too cute not to get a picture of.

I have a few more updates coming and have already posted a lot of new updates today so just keep scrolling down older posts to catch up on what we have been up to.
