Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas.........(a little late)! We had a Wonderful and Busy Christmas this year. Our plans got changed a little bit when Kenley was diagnosed with RSV the week before Christmas. She ran a fever for about 8 days straight but it broke just in time for us to go to Springdale and spend Christmas with our families.

We started out with Christmas at my parents house with Nana, PahPaw, Aunt Amby, Uncle Mike and Emma. We tried to get some pictures of the girls in front of the tree but couldn't get a shot of both of them at the same time- oh well, the ones we got are still cute!

Here is dad with his present from all of us kids. As most of you that follow this blog know he is a BIG Razorback fan and puts on a big tailgate for all of the home games. For the tailgate he has a 42" plasma tv so that we can watch other games before ours starts. Well he was really in need of a way to display and protect the tv so my handy husband built this amazing box for the tv. The tv will actually be mounted on the top part- so as you open it, it flips up there. Isn't my husband awesome?!?! He did a great job on this.


On Christmas morning we headed over to the Bostian's house and spent some time with them having a big Christmas. Kenley, of course, entertained everyone and we were able to spend some time with Uncle Cary and Aunt Elissa. I think they were a little shocked to see how much Kenley has changed since they moved away this summer. It was so good to see them!

After that Christmas we headed back to my parents house for the BIG Piker Christmas. After lunch Kenley was a little worn out- what do you think...........

At this point of the Christmas it looks like the paparazzi has taken over the living room. We always take lots of pictures and as you can see in this photo, nobody knows which camera to look at. haha!

My cousin Louis and his girlfriend Deborah got the girls these adorable rocking chairs for Christmas. Emma's is a pink bunny and Kenley's is a cow that actually mooo's. They are so precious and the girls love them. Thanks Lou and Deb!

My parents have a huge plant room in the front of their house that they always decorate for Christmas with Santa and his sleigh, so we decided to put the girls in it and take some pictures. They turned out so cute!



And.....one of the best parts........we had a WHITE CHRISTMAS this year!!! It was GORGEOUS! I could not wait to put Kenley's big fur coat on her and get some pictures in the snow. She loved it!

What a wonderful, beautiful Christmas we had. Hope you had a blessed Christmas this year and took time to remember the true meaning of Christmas....the birth of Lord and Savior!
